Hi there! I’m Rob Nelson. You may recognize me from the picture at the top of this page. Over the past 20 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to help different people with their business needs. I enjoy interacting with clients, working with talented people and meeting deadlines. I thrive in a business environment that involves respect, organization and accountability. I like schedules that are realistic but firm.
One month out of college I started a specialized advertising company with a friend. He handled sales and I handled everything else. It was a lesson in business management and graphic design. The experience gave me passion for both. I then became the production manager for a publication company. As publications moved from paper to pixels, I have rediscovered my love for web development.
In the last two years, I have really enjoyed using PHP and SQL to utilize the power of databases and the flexibility of the web. I like using my background in management and design to deliver data that not only looks good, but is pertinent to business processes.
Currently, I live with my son and our dog in a small suburb of Little Rock, Arkansas. I grew up here and decided to come back when it was time to start a family. My son will be in college soon and I will be open to relocation.
